Golight was founded in 1994 by Jerry Gohl who saw the need for a durable and superior portable remote control spotlight. Together with Al Gebhard, a product development engineer, design and engineering was achieved, and marketing began with an in-house approach and only one product. Ten years later, Golight, Inc. has grown from one product to a complete line of products that meet the needs of many specialty markets. The company has continued to maintain a competitive edge in the searchlight market through significant investment in research and development and through corporate quality planning and technology that anticipates the requirements of future market demands.
